Administrator Level 3

£19,554 - £21,166

37 hours per week - Term Time Plus 3 weeks

We are looking to appoint well-organised, proactive, enthusiastic, and committed individuals with good knowledge of administrative systems and HR processes, strong interpersonal, communication and ICT skills.

The main purpose of the role is to provide comprehensive HR administration, and support across all aspects of HR within the school. Duties will include the following:

1. To develop and maintain clear and efficient administrative processes for all HR and training activities and ensure these are accessible by the senior leadership team and other line managers
2. To administer the day-to-day activities in the recruitment process, typing adverts and placing them with suitable media. Providing a contact point for applicants. Ensuring website is kept up to date, ensuring candidates information packs and interview packs are accurate and issued in a timely manner.

3. Organise and communicate interviews/assessment centres. Ensure candidates and managers are kept informed of process at all times.

4. To process pre-employment checks and issue appropriate documentation, ensure checks are complete and files are prepared to school standards.

5. Administer HR-related documentation such as offer letters, schedule to contracts, leavers, promotions, increases etc.

6. Support the senior leadership team and line managers in new employee inductions and the ongoing administration of the performance management system for all staff.

7. To support the Business Manager with HR employee information (on SIMS) and payroll responsibilities; ensuring that accurate management information can be produced.

8. To regularly audit personnel files to ensure continuing compliance with GDPR.

9. Provide administrative and HR support to senior leadership team and line managers for absence management and monitoring return to work interviews. Where required, liaise with external health providers to arrange medical, inoculations and occupational health assessments.

11. Administrative support for ad-hoc HR letters and projects as and when required

13. Other various duties supporting other office team members ensuring the smooth running of the office.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and service users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is an essential requirement of this post.

Administrator Level 2

£10,745 - £10,960

25 Hours per week - Term Time Only

We are seeking a part-time Receptionist to be based at Redwood Education and Enterprise Centre (REEC), Kenyon Lane Middleton.

We are seeking to recruit a committed individual who has the capacity to develop their skills quickly and who can demonstrate a high level of customer service to the daily visitors to REEC.

We are seeking to recruit a person who will:

  • act as a reception service for REEC
  • process visitor passes ensuring the authenticity and ensuring the correct procedures are followed
  • provide a professional and efficient service to visitors by dealing with all enquiries (either face to face or over the telephone)
  • eceive deliveries and ensure all deliveries are recorded and signed for
    ensure pupils are registered and signed in
  • be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young children and young people

 

Who will also demonstrate:

  • a good knowledge of administration work
  • the ability to work as part of a team
  • a sound knowledge of Health and Safety practices
  • High levels of dedication and motivation
  • Commitment to Redwood practices and procedures

Driver/TA

£14,096 - £14,378

32.5 Hours - Term Time Only

We would like to hear from you if you are someone who has the capacity to develop their skills quickly and who can demonstrate a high level of commitment to our very special young people. Redwood aims to provide the highest quality of teaching and learning to our youngsters and requires all our staff to work together as a part of a coherent team. The purpose and objectives of the post are:

  • To be responsible for the transportation and care of pupils on educational activities
  • To monitor and help maintain the safety, security and road worthiness of the school minibuses
  • To liaise with other staff regarding the use of the minibuses
  • To support the training of staff operating the minibuses including the use of clamps

We are seeking to recruit a person who will:

  • Provide support for students recreational and learning activities
  • Contribute to the safe use of the minibuses
