Administration (Level 3)

Grade 4, (SCP) 18-21 

Required for September 2018

Redwood Secondary School is a successful generic secondary special school for pupils aged 11-19 based on a co-located site with a mainstream secondary school. There has been a recent extension to the building of four classrooms including an ASC specific environment. Our latest Ofsted inspection in December 2016 judged the school to be ‘good with outstanding features’.

The governors of our school are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our administration team. You will undertake a range of duties to support the smooth running of the school and the effective and efficient use of the school’s resources. Duties will include cash handling and use of IT systems.

You will ideally have experience of using SIMS.net but you will be fully conversant and a confident user of Microsoft Office and be able to demonstrate excellent organisational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills as you will be responsible for all the front line admin support functions.

Teaching Assistant Level 3+ (Temporary)

Grade 6, Points 26-30 -  £17,738 - £20,334

Contract: Temporary - Linked to Funding

We are looking for a TA3+ who will demonstrate a high level of commitment to our very special young people and will specifically work 1:1 providing education, health and physical support for a student with profound and multiple learning and physical difficulties and complex health issues.

The successful candidate will be provided with a specialist training package to enable them to support the medical needs of this young person.
