Extended Schools

Redwood are proud of the work we do outside of school hours and beyond the gate, and want to further grow and enhance the Extended Schools Offer to support wider SEND. Last summer, 90 children attended sessions over the holiday with a big jump from 20-30 in a day to 40.

 

Our offer also includes before and after school clubs and youth clubs (weekends).

There are also a range of valuable partnerships agencies and with families, hosting key events across different locations top maximise attendance. This includes workshops, training and groups (coffee mornings).

 

Feedback gained, including the use of survey, shapes the training delivered and how we communicate as a school. To further strengthen communication, new class email accounts have been introduced for all class teams with the expectation is that class staff will maintain regular contact.
