Leadership and Management

A1 - Maintain and further develop the impact of Redwood Governance through a period of transition.
A2 - Further strengthen Redwood’s place in the borough.
A3 - Embed the new staff structure, further developing line management and the quality of appraisal.
A4 - Further develop the operational and strategic function of senior leadership.
A5 - Further develop wider Redwood leadership and middle leadership across school sites.
A6 - Implement a core and enhanced CPD model across the Redwood workforce
A7 - Ensure an increasing emphasis on the wellbeing of the whole school community.

Quality of Education

B1 - Implement a broad, balanced and progressive curriculum across school from Pre-Formal to Formal.
B2 - Refine and embed Provision Pathways to further improve the SEND offer.
B3 - Refine, simplify, and organise progress tracking, whole school assessment and the evidencing of learning.
B4 - Embed systems and processes to develop more targeted support, further improving teaching and learning across school
B5 - Broaden personal development opportunities across pathways, embedding systems and processes to track impact and progress.
B6 - Further develop and improve the wider Post 16 offer.

Quality of Care

C1 - Launch and develop a whole school Quality of Care offer.
C2 - Further develop specialist SEND, utilising commissioned services and embedding Redwood Teams.
C3 - Broaden safeguarding capacity and remit across all sites, ensuring continued gains with attendance for all cohorts.
C4 - Embed new ways of recording all forms of behaviour/ anxiety, developing response and intervention.
C5 - Continue to increase staff skillset and confidence with challenging SEND/ behaviour
C6 - Further grow and enhance the Extended Schools Offer.

Premises and Resources

D1 - Secure sustained resilience in Redwood School staffing.
D2 - Further develop Redwood’s Business Support Function.
D3 - Improve Redwood environments (across estates) to support increasing SEND demand and rising complexity.
D4 - Further embed HR processes to increase staff attendance at work.
D5 - Future proof school finances ensuring equity across school
