Formal SEND

Our Boost Pathway is designed to meet the specific needs of learners through a variety of tailored approaches.

Opportunities vary for learners and may include some or all of the following:

  • appropriately levelled accreditations such as GCES’s or entry level qualifications

  • an environment which actively enables and harnesses social inclusion as a means of furthering skills and learning.

  • providing work-based learning opportunities.

The pathway is delivered within a smaller class setting, supported by specialist staff, while being integrated with mainstream partners.

Learners on this pathway will continue to access an adapted version of the National Curriculum (NC), allowing them to gain accreditations aligned with their cognitive abilities and personal interests. Qualifications entered, best reflect student’s academic attainment and potential. There is a strong emphasis on personal and physical development in Boost pathway, ensuring a holistic approach to education.
