Build
Formal SEND

Build pathway is designed for students in which provision focuses on their cognition and learning and personal development. Following a formal SEND curriculum, learning reflects topics which are adapted from the National Curriculum and those related to their own experiences, preparing them for adult life. It is both skill and context-based and encourages students to engage in a range of learning approaches and opportunities.

Students in this pathway at KS4 will pursue accreditation appropriate to their stage of development. They will continue to learn in an environment which supports the development of functional skills and increases independence. These are continued in appropriate post 16 destinations.
