Our Offer

Initiate
Initiate is designed for learners who benefit from a personalised, learner led approach. It provides a nurturing and flexible environment where individual strengths, interests and needs shape the learning experience.
This provision is particularly suited to learners who may experience high levels of anxiety and require bespoke support to engage successfully in learning. Provision is adapted according to each learner's needs and may include opportunities within Hudson's Walk, Sixth Form, community based settings, or a combination of these.
As learners grow in confidence and readiness, they are supported to access increasingly semi-formal and formal learning opportunities.
The curriculum is designed to maximise independence, resilience and preparation for adulthood. Learning is meaningful, functional and connected to real-life experiences, enabling learners to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to thrive both in school and beyond.
Through a responsive and flexible approach, Initiate ensures that every learner is supported to engage, achieve and make progress at a pace that is right for them.
